• Case Analysis : Organization behavior is the study of how individuals and a group of people interact and behave when working together in teams. It is purely related to organization, organizing, and management of a company. Organization behavior is a small field that falls under the human resource category. According to Mullins,(2007) organizational behavior is a field of study that “investigates the impact that individuals, groups and organizational structure have on behavior within the organization, for the purpose of applying such knowledge towards improving an organizational effectiveness” (Mullins, 2007).
OB has different concepts such as diversity, power, and job satisfaction. This case is revolving around gender related power

This was done to implement the new policies of diversity and to enhance the workforce in the company. The manager was not keen on having a female in his department but hence he decided to give her a lot of work and this revolves around the power concept. The power concept was used in this case is formal of coercive power by the manager is to defame and criticize the female worker as it is known that all over the world male manager do not prefer females to work with men and show that they are superior or are afraid of their work or they feel insecure. Every task that she was given she took it as a challenge and then she did it to her best ability and hence she was successful despite having no help and lack of employees in the department. As the manager was using his power of being a manager he used to put her down, criticize her in front of others, blame her for mistakes that he did and did not appreciate her work. Due to this issue, many people in the same department left earlier and hence this led to the resignation of the female employee also. Even when she went to speak to the HR department they did not pay any heed to the situation and kept ignoring it till the time when the lady resigned and this led to a huge loss. In this situation, the employee used the job satisfaction concept when she chose to stay and take the voice position when she went to the HR …show more content…
The three main concepts of organizational behavior are an important aspect in leveraging the organization. According to Chumg, Seaton, Cooke & Ding ,(2016) these aspects and concepts of OB can be used to affecting employees' knowledge-sharing behavior in the virtual organization from the perspectives of well-being and organizational behavior. The OB concepts diversity, power, and job satisfaction can be used in a positive and motivating manner to encourage employees to work in a company. Each concept can be used for better results at the work
