Carter felt fears go through his entire body. “Ahhhh, ok ,ok ,ok I remember that little kid in Walmart.” Carter addressed.

“I’m sorry for hurting you I was so egotistical of myself that I forgot of what was important; friends and helping others before yourself.” Carter apologized to Tom while still standing outside of his doorway looking at the door.
Carter asking Tom. “Do you forgive me?”
Tom stopped crying and layed on his bed with his face full of tears and thought “I forgive him but he is the only friend that I have and I never want him to hurt me ever again.”
