Chapter twelve
***Carson 's P.O.V***
I was sitting on a bench eating my sandwich because none of my friends had come out of lunch yet. I saw Oliver come and sit next to me.
He looked at me, an unreadable expression on his face. "Hey, can I ask you something?"
I smiled. "Of course you can. "
He frowned slightly. "Um, imagine, hypothetically, that there was a boy who was with his friends and they weren 't nice. Do you think that the boy could change?"
I chuckled. "Are you talking about yourself?"
He sighed. "Okay, maybe I am. Can i change? Am I the same guy I was before I met you? What if I 'll always be a bad person? Am I annoying you? The fact that I ruined your life and now I 'm trying to hang out with you, isn 't that pathetic? Even if you

"Wow, where did this all come from?"
He just grabbed my hand and clenched it with both of his own. "That doesn 't matter. Is what I said true?"
I sighed. "Of course it 's not true. Obviously you can change who you are, but already have changed recently and I don 't want you to change. Because you 're the best you 've ever been. Oli, you 're not a bad person. And I don 't think you 're pathetic for hanging out with me. I feel safer when I 'm with you."

Carson didn 't really seem to mind.
Dave 's dad turned to Oliver who was eating quietly, sitting on the other side of Carson. "So, Oliver, got a new girlfriend yet?"
Sam looked up confused. "What are you talking about? Oliver 's dating Carson."
Mrs Wood squealed and grabbed Carson, squeezing him into a tight hug. "I knew you guys were together! I always knew you were gay, Oliver. Oh my god! I 'm so happy."
Oliver shook his head. "Mum, it 's not like that."
However Mr Wood just put his hand on his son 's shoulder and smiled. "It 's okay. You don 't need to hide. I 'm happy for you. I 'm happy it 's Carson."
Oliver just nodded, trying and failing to hide a smile.
Dave 's mum and dad just smiled at Carson and Oliver as Mrs Wood finally released Carson.
I looked over at Dave and winked. He smirked back at me. We had pulled off step one of our plan. Next step, we take it up a notch.

After the dinner, I was dropping off Sam and Carson at their house.
Carson turned to Sam who was in the back seat. "Sam, go inside the house."
He nodded and walked into the house, unlocking the door. After Sam was gone, Carson turned to me. "Look, I 'm so sorry about what Sam

Blank, dead eyes stared at the blank death like white walls, the pills had done their job. Lucille Chaleau was now like every other person in the glorified purgatory, Marie de Médicis Asylum. It was a rainy fall evening, and Sam had just returned to central perk after a stressful day of work. His eyes fluttered closed as he strutted into the warm building, and a sigh escaped from his pink tinted lips. The aroma of roasted coffee beans, and sweet baked goods greeted him with open arms. When his eyes slicked the interior of the coffee shop, a joyous voice shouted out to him. “Hey, Sam!”…

My parents decided to get a divorce less than two years ago, in fact, this weekend marks the two-year anniversary of the day they decided to split up. The Sunday after Thanksgiving; it is a day that no one in my family will ever forget I am sure. The four of us were sitting around the square, wooden dinner table eating leftover turkey and stuffing. Mom and Dad had been fighting since we had gotten home from church. Alex and I had spent the remainder of the morning hiding upstairs with our stereos turned up to their maximum levels to drown out the sound of Mom and Dad screaming downstairs.…
