One women. That has helped shaped country forever. The lady from Idol that rose to fame. This women is commonly picked to host the CMA Awards. She has won 7 Grammys and been nominated 14 times out of her 11 years of singing professionally. She grew up in a small town of Checotah, Oklahoma. This woman's name is Carrie Underwood. Underwood is one that almost everyone knows of because of her popularity in the country music world. Carrie is a very talented artist that was taken to fame on the hit TV shows American Idol winning it in 2005. Carrie Marie Underwood is a person that I admire much for her hard work to get where she is know and her very loving heart. When she was little she would play outside on the farm helping out and playing. She explained her childhood as “Growing up in the country, I enjoyed things like playing on dirt roads, climbing trees, catching little woodland creatures and, of course, singing. (bio.com)” Underwood went to the Northeastern State University in Oklahoma majoring in broadcast journalism. Carrie always dreamed of being a singer and she was able to try out for American Idol’s fourth season in 2005 her senior year of college. Underwood wowed the judges and passed to be sent off to Hollywood to be on the TV show. Carrie talent was obvious to voters and eventually won the fourth season of American Idol. From there her career took off making her album “Some Hearts” with a billboard topping song “Jesus Take the Wheel.” Her success just keep growing through the …show more content…
On February 2015 they announced the birth of their son Isaiah Michael Fisher. In the future Caries states that she sees another baby coming sometime soon. Underwood's newest album published in 2015 is “Storyteller” her tour of this album ended in November of last year. The album consists of the very famous and award winning “Church Bells” and “Dirty Laundry”. Carrie’s upcoming event is the Grammy’s which is on February 12 located in Los Angeles. Underwood is a very giving person and she sponsors a foundation called CATS that helped out the community of Checotah, Oklahoma. Every ticket that Carrie sold on her tour “The Storyteller” $1 went to the foundation to help out her hometown she was blessed to be a part of. She is a very giving, gifted and award wining
