Carolina Blue Descriptive Essay

Superior Essays
The sky is a Carolina blue. The clouds look like wisps that have been painted with a paintbrush. The temperature is 68 degrees. The sun is partially blocked by the clouds but is slowly starting to show its full self.
The pond ripples as a little kid skips a rock into it. The kid is wearing a Duke blue shirt and navy blue jeans. The water is a dirt brown and camo green color. The dirt swirls under the water like a tornado. There are long lime green plants coming out of the water on the right side of the pond.
There are 6 ducks and their feathers are a mixture of colors. An olive green, a dirt brown, a charcoal black, and a vanilla white. It dives under the water to get small fish that swim underneath. There are 10 dragonflies flying just above the surface of the water. It skims the water and picks up something that is small and jet black.

There are 32 kids and 11 adults. One kid in particular is wearing a pink vest with a pink shirt. She is also wearing yoga pants and is sliding down a slide repeatedly. There is a boy who is sliding down with her. He is wearing shorts and a T-Shirt. On the other side of the park there is a baby crying quite loudly because he fell of the swing.
The smell of Bar Be Que fills the air. A soccer team is having a Bar Be Que to celebrate the end of their season. On the other side of the field is another team that is playing a game. One team is wearing a cherry red kit, and the other is wearing a tiger orange. The field is a healthy grass green. The side lines are a perfect vanilla
