Located in Pittsburg, Carnegie Mellon University has an amazing campus of historical and artistic sites, for instance the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. CMU also has students from more than fifty countries even though it only has a population of 10,000 students. Living in a pluralistic environment, I believe while obtaining more attention from professors, I can enlarge my public relation circle to people with various backgrounds.
When talking about extracurricular activities, Ms. Caris was very excited to recommend that Carnegie Mellon offers hundreds of clubs that help develop students’ interests in certain area and help release pressure such as intramural sports. Whenever there is a “football game”, she teased, the marching band and the Scottie dog will always attract the most attention from the audience. Caris’s face that she is proud to be an undergraduate at CMU. Her pride, maturity and appreciation convinces me that CMU can offer me a meaningful and fulfilling four years filled with knowledge and excitement. When she was talking about how the CMU Career Guidance Center helped her fix up her resume and offered her dozens of internship opportunities, I believe Carnegie Mellon will aid and facilitate me on my future career with the same scrupulous care and I trust CMU will utterly provide its resources to help me establish strong personalities and career interests. At the same time, I want to bring my open mind, good listening skills, passion for physics and desire for interacting with new people to the CMU
