Finally, the wait was over on Friday May 6 I was excited to finally visit a place I never experienced before, Carnegie Hall. I ordered two tickets online one for my girlfriend and one for myself to watch The Cecilia Chorus of New York with Orchestra preform Beethoven Missa solemnis, Op. 123. It took a lot of convincing but with some bribery I was able to drag my girlfriend along with me. We left about two hours early from Queens expecting to reach one hour early to Columbus Circle but things didn’t go as plan. As we got on the train it was running fine for good 10 min before the infamous A train delays started. To make it worst the conductor politely apologized and beg for our patients as they sort out a signal problem ahead. It so happens that that A train and C train will run on the J line. After countless delays later we arrived at Columbus Circle with only 20 min before the concert starts. Instead it was design with an Italian Renaissance look that was preserved over the years. As we enter through the glass doors I thought the concert hall we were going to enter was going to be small because the building did not look that big on the outside. As we enter Carnegie Hall we were directed to our seats all the way to the balcony which took 137 steps to get to. As we enter the Stern hall I was I flabbergasted at the beautiful appearance of the hall. It was exceptionally fancy with red seats and the walls painted with a golden enchanted cream color. It was a magnificent sight but I could not help but notice 3 longs strings hanging. There was two in the middle of the hall and one over the orchestra during the whole performance, to this day I could not figure out the reason for those three
