Carmax Case

I agree. When it comes to purchasing a used vehicles Carmax does do a great job in selling lower mileage vehicles that are less than ten years old. Now when a customer wants to sell their vehicle to them this is a different story in my experience how they can do the no price haggle is because they will low ball a customer on selling their vehicle. For an example, let's say that your truck is worth $10,000.00 cash kelly blue book. Carmax will instead make an offer of $5,000.00. No haggling on price. But what this gives them is enough profit for the flip of the truck to the next customer. So if you are willing to take the low ball offer that's on you. But if you are in the market of buying a quality vehicle with low miles then yes Carmax

ARGUMENT I. THE PETITIONER, IN THIS CASE, WAS AN EMPLOYEE OF PLUS BUILDING, INC., AND NOT AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. Respondent claims that Petitioner Mr. Kroplewski was not an employee of Plus Building, Inc., but an independent contractor. Although there is no rigid rule of law to determine whether an employer-employee relationship exists between parties, such determination depends on the particular facts of the case. The range of factors is considered in making that determination including the right to control the manner in which the work is done, the method of payment, the right to discharge, the skill required, and who provided the materials, tools, and equipment.…

An industry is a group of businesses that offer similar products and services (Parnell, 2014). AutoZone’s industry would consist of other automobile supply stores that directly compete with the same products like Advance and O’Reilly Auto parts. Parnell (2014) again stated that a firm’s competition is primarily considered their industry. According to the NAICS (2012), these stores are primarily engaged in retailing new, use, or rebuilt auto parts and accessories. I wouldn’t include new car dealerships in AutoZone’s industry because they don’t really compete against them for business.…
