Carly Annotated Bibliography

Along the countryside, to the right of the big upside down Redwood Tree and past the calm river there is a pleasant little village named Sunnyvale. In this village, lives a unique young woman named Carly. I bet you’re wondering why Carly was so unique. When Carly popped out of her mother’s womb everyone gasped because, there in front of them was a baby with long blonde hair purple highlights.

Her mother always said that she was a very active child who never stopped playing games. Her mother would recant stories of Carly running around their backyard, playing hide-n-seek with her siblings. Although Carly loved hide-n-seek, her favorite game was makebelieve. Her siblings and her would always pretended that they were at a tea party drinking tea and eating little cucumber sandwiches. They would spend hours prancing around in their beautiful gowns, heals, suits, and makebelieve ties. The backyard became a magical ballroom with birds and bugs and other ballroom guests. One night, when Carly was twelve, she went outside to watch the stars go by in the enormous sky. She paid particular attention to one star that seemed to be the brightest of them all. It seemed so bright that it would be visible from every place in the galaxy. That dazzling star came down from the sky and started to speak to Carly. Carly couldn’t understand what it was saying because, not only was she in shock at the unbelievable star, it was speaking in a very soft and slow voice. The star got closer and closer and finally landed on the ground, with a sudden puff of smoke she saw the star turn into a person.
