One must understand that the unified front of eros and agape love, body and soul, is the path to the realization of ones self and his capability to love others and god. When the two are united eros is matured and can practice its authentic purpose. We are then lead to the term ‘Caritas’. Early theories of Christianity raised the questions of ones motivation behind evangelising god’s love. The selfish practice of showing love to reach salvation was a concept acted out. Journalists play a vital role in society, as they give a service to the public that allows the people to know what is happening around them and around the world. They do the research and find the information an average citizen may not know how to access or make meaning of. This service then is to help the public, and maybe make the world a better place because of it. Political journalism must be highlighted, as this gives the public the tools and information to understand and be informed on how their country is being run, and make educated decisions in voting and acts of public pressure, ensuring ones democratic rights can be successfully
