East University is a private school in Arlington, Virginia. Established in 1967 by a group of health professionals and military leaders. The Delta school of nursing offers traditional baccalaureate, accelerated baccalaureate, Masters of Science (MSN), and doctorate degrees. The Delta school of nursing hired 5 experienced associate professors in addition to 20 faculty members for undergraduate and graduate programs. Therefore, current student body of 150 will increase to 200. The students are as follows: 75 traditional program, 30 accelerated baccalaureate, 20 family nurse practitioner, 10 nurse administration, 10 nurse education, and 5 doctorate program. This group has shorter time to complete studies and preparation early in program is essential. Caring in nursing education is applicable to proposal. The main ideas of the Caring in nursing education is using different approaches from humanistic-existential to feminist (Billings & Halstead, 2012). Clinical, academic and various settings to use this theory with the focus on caring relationship of faculty and students (Billings & Halstead, 2012). Faculty members must teach systems thinking encouraging open inquiry of students in learning environment. Students cultivate critical thinking skills, knowledge and connect systems thinking. October 2015, budget for proposal approved, recruit participants, get informed consent and do a literature review. November 2015, all factors (cost, time, consistency, availability of assistance) are consider and create a data collection plan. December 2015, data collection forms use to record demographic data and pertinent information. Also, there is a data collection detailed plan. January 2016, develop a codebook for data definitions, an example registered nurse (RN). February 2016, conduct a pilot study after approval from institutional review board (IRB).
