Clearly defining the objective for Caring Group of America’s (CGOA) social media marketing plan will ensure that all milestone goals and minor goals support the overall purpose of the campaign. The objective for implementing an online marketing campaign through social media is to attract more traffic to the website through increased company brand awareness. The first goal will be to successfully improve current social sites, Google + and Facebook, which have zero consumer engagement and lack proper communication; as well as create new sites, Twitter and LinkedIn, to bolster the business relationship marketing strategy before the end of 2015. Building a multi-platform presence online will ensure each social media category: social network, media sharing, and thought sharing sites, enables the company to establish and maintain relational exchanges with the market. In order to reach this goal CGOA must also link all social media platforms to their website and vice versa. Centralizing page ownership and site passwords will also make the multi-platform posting and updating easier. …show more content…
In order to do this CGOA should connect with ten new people or pages per week across social media platforms in the first four months. Having a home page on various social platforms will not help the company if they do not connect appropriately and expand their online social network. Joining ten new networking circles or discussions via Google + forums or LinkedIn conversations for the first four months can also increase connections. Lastly, CGOA must also work to post on each site at least once a week for the next eight
