The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel. They had finally arrived back from the snorkeling trip on the boat. It was a long journey on that ship. They set off sail from the port one week ago, when they were supposed to be out on sea for one day. They left the island one week ago to go snorkeling in the beautiful coral reefs of the Caribbean. It took them aground two hours to get the coral reef. The boat had finally arrived and everyone was so excited, it was so beautiful. When they looked down at the ocean they saw that the ocean was clear, bright blue, filled with fish, and the coral was visible and alluring.¹ Once they arrived the captains anchored down the boat and set the rules. One of the boat captains name was Chuck and the other one was named Joe. After Chuck and Joe set the rules, they got everyone their equipment, and showed them how to put all the gear on. Once everyone got their gear on, the captains told everyone one more time not to go too far away from the boat. After the last reminder everyone jumped in, and started snorkeling. Everyone was in awe about how beautiful it was. There were so many different types of fish to look at. …show more content…
All the snorkelers were looking around and wondering what that sound was. One of the snorkelers, whose name was Bill yelled, “Look up!” Everyone looked up.
