Vocational schooling allows them to make mistakes without falling hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt for choosing another major or job path half way through their education. It allows students to test professions before they enter them and ultimately hate their job for the rest of their lives. Career technical education programs in high school are free and let students sample certain jobs without costing anything at all to switch to another program. They are also given room for growth.
