An ideal strategy to help the growing of nursing within Canada is career shadowing, in which can lead to reduction and the shortage of nurses. Buchan and Aiken (2008) explained the strategy the Center of Health affairs use to solve the problem for the shortage of nursing. Their ideal strategy to solving the problem for the decease for nursing was to use Career shadowing. Some of the groups that was most focused on was mostly high school student (Ohio high school). During their research, what the result showed was out of the 1,762 student that participate with interacting with professional with the healthcare system, about 1026 student later to purse the their careers with nursing (Goodin, 2003).Due to the success of career shadowing it has …show more content…
To solve this problem what is needed is within the healthcare institutes is the corporation their nursing education, in which would help in employing online placement program for nurses. This strategy also helps the nurse to more familiar with the use of technology with their practice. The use of clinical placement is a perfect area is which help to identify the weakness of nurses, and also help them to gain more experience in their fields, while later help them to overcome challenges that they will face later in their fields. Another strategy to increase the nursing is the using the tax credits, an example of this is the in U.S where the three bills was passed to permit the creation of a refundable tax credit for all nurses in the registered nurse’s category (Montour, Baumann and Blythe, 2009). Looking in the same line as the argument before, by excluding taxes from full-time registered nurse salary, it would help to motivates to continuing staying in their positions due to an improve of their incomes. Thus, it would decrease the shortage of nursing in the healthcare system. An increased of the government to funding’s to training nurses with the profession is an ideal strategy that will help with the shortage of nursing.
