Career Readiness-I LEAD Program:
A Bootcamp or specialized career readiness component that entails core workplace competencies that will broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition into the workplace. The program will foster employment related skills that meet the needs of the workforce through major coursework, e-learning, co-curricular activities and career preparation. In addition, the courses will provide students with knowledge and experience of workplace competencies that will help not only with job placement, adapting to normative cultures but to also assist with job advancement. Student mastery of understanding for each competency will be measured through pre and post assessments, evaluations, testing and/or credentialing

• Leadership –Students will be exposed to various leadership styles through mentorship opportunities, leadership training, budgets (Watch the Money series) and organizational development courses that align with workforce needs. Disney Institute & Dale Carnegie Training
• Professionalism/Work Ethic-Students will demonstrate personal accountability by understanding and learning the importance of work habits e.g., professional work image, time management of a swipe card system and strictly enforced deadlines for submission of work assignments . The student must also demonstrate an understanding of integrity and ethical behaviors within the profession and workplace. A co-curricular component designed where students are required to take courses that emphasize the expectations of ethics and business practices. Students will also take a courses on Blackboard or through e-learning systems that generates a certificate of understanding and completion as well as participate in activities promoted by the Gold Alliance program. Academic curriculums will also incorporate national, international or global ethics within respective discipline
