I have begun on my career project. My career choice is a psychiatrist and there is a lot of information about my career I have learned already. Through research, I learned what educational background is required and its importance for this career. I have also learned what a psychiatrist would do on a day to day basis and what the environment is like. To begin, through my research for my capstone career project, I have learned what educational background is required for my career. To be a psychiatrist a student will first need a 4 year bachelors degree. Many pre-med students choose to major in biology, chemistry, or physics. Then, a 4 year doctorate of medicine (M.D.) must be earned. After this, 4 years of psychiatric residency is required,
