Chris was born in the United States while, both his mother and father are from Guanajuato. Chris is currently a democrat however, in the past he used to be a republican for eight years. He was part of Prop 47. Prop 47 is “Criminal Sentences, and Misdemeanor Penalties.” About two years ago if an individual was caught with marijuana the individual would be charged with a felony. The only job he has had in the industry was as a carpenter. He helps recruit individuals and sometimes mentors them. He has had many mentors along his path to success such as, J.P and Maxine Waters. Contacts, and relationships is a must need to achieve goals in the political field. There is a long journey for me to reach success but, determination, knowledge, contacts, and relationships is what will make me successful. My former major was Aerospace Engineering but, now that I have seen what politics truly is, eagerness makes me want to change to politics. While, taking your class JP I understood right away from the beginning that politics is my calling. As I interviewed Chris Castillo I had no problems speaking. He is a living prodigy of all the examples he gave me. Chris could not have reached where he is if it were not for his mentors (JP, Maxine Waters). He went through a process to reach where he is. I must develop the master plan, that will make me successful. Once I graduate with sixty units from LATTC, I will enroll myself in the military where my tuition of university could be paid. When I graduate from military university I will run for city council of Los Angeles. As I earn both popularity and money I will be in search of a political job where I can be mentored. The entire first day of the three day session, the people putting on the course went over basic knowledge that people with 3 years of experience should already know.
