While being very organized, a planner, social, positive, considerate, and dutiful, I will have a hard time with this career choice. Many characteristics will be a push back when trying to complete task such as not liking strange things, being intolerant of differences, preferring values of relationships and families over intellectual pursuit, things have to be clean and if they aren’t I feel really out of place, and getting attached to something or someone way too quickly. Having the trait of getting attached very quickly is a blessing and a curse. I know that I will easily make connections with all my patients and be very fond of each individual I have the opportunity to treat. If I so happen to mistreat or misdiagnose one of the patients I will have over the years, I will more than likely not want to hear anything another nurse or doctor has to tell me. I know I will need to listen to their tips and suggestions, but I’m the kind of person to learn from my mistakes, not what someone says. In order to pursue my career the best I can, I will have to learn how to take positive criticism and respect others
