Most people think that having a career in photography is stupid. In all reality, having a career in photography can get you a lot of money and can be fun at the same time. In this essay I will discuss the types of jobs in photography and the cons of having a job in photography.

There are many job opportunities in the photography field. The ones I came across were: wedding, scientific, fine arts, industrial, forensic, sports, fashion, wildlife, war, and astrophotography. With a career in photography, you can get paid a lot of money. For the most part, photographers get a large amount of money. The type of photographers that usually make the most money are war, wedding, fine arts, astrophotography, wildlife, and fashion.

Fashion photography is one of the most common photography. One of the best colleges for fashion photography is University of Central Florida. There is also CSU Sacramento. Requirements to become a fashion photographer is to set up a portfolio, You are going to want to set up a portfolio because you want the place you want to work at to see your experience in photography. You might also want to include a lot of your own personal work. A famous fashion photographer is Annie Leibovitz. She is a very famous fashion photographer. Here is a picture of her work:

Because astrophotography is such an unordinary type of photography, it is well paid. The average salary for a person who takes photos of astronomy is 40,000 to 100,000 dollars a year. Maybe more but who knows. To become an astrophotographer, you have to be very smart and focused because there is such a big competition to become a good astrophotographer.
