When you make the decision to dye your hair, you are making a statement. When I first dyed my hair blue, I felt like I could finally express myself and create something I could be proud of. Later in life, I realized I could take that passion and turn it into a profession. I learned about cosmetology, and how in a as little as 9 to 2 year programs I could become an expert in hair, beauty and skin care. Cosmetology combines cutting, styling and coloring hair. I realized this was the career for me when I knew I would put my creativity to use.
