Career Goals
My career goals are to attain a career where I can help those who need help. I have always had a passion to help those less fortunate than me. I always wanted to be a social worker and work for Child Protection and Permanency, CP&P (formerly the Division of Youth and Family Services, DYFS) or similar agency. To obtain these goals, I must set a track. I started my college career at Cumberland County College as a Social Service major. I graduated in May 2015, with an Associates of Science in Social Service. I later found out I would have to further my education. Must obtain my Bachelors of Science to further my education, and continue in graduate school.
My Dream school was Stockton College, where I could obtain my Bachelor of Science in Social Service. With having a young child, I had to pursue a different route for my education. I chose to

Have hopes my masters will help me obtain my ultimate career goal to oversee an organization. To oversee an organization, I would have to gain experience working for different organizations. Possible organizations would be such as Robin’s Nest, Catholic Charities, Inspira Health Network and Public School Systems. Dream position would be to later become a director or site coordinator of a program either nonprofit or for profit.
Attend college over the past twelve years, my career goals have changed. I have always wanted to be a social work for DCPP. I found that the hiring process for DCPP is not so quite easy to get in and is a very demanding job. I Kept that ultimate dream job in my mind to be a social worker. I am preparing for another career if that does not work out. My second dream job would to work for different organizations gain the experience to oversee an organization and become a site coordinator or director. Do think of obtaining my PHD in Organizational Leadership but that wouldn’t be for a few more
