First, because I want to be able to take care of myself and not have to depend on anyone else. Second, because not only do I want to take care of myself but my parents too. And lastly, because it ties back into my personal goal, fighting for equality. As a judge, I will have the power to make decisions that could make a huge impact on human rights. The biggest obstacle that stands in my way of becoming a judge would probably be networking. Throughout my educational career I have had several great teachers. To choose my best teacher is difficult for me since each teacher was for a different course and they had a unique personality and style of teaching. Overall, I would have to choose Mr. Poska as my best teacher (not necessarily my favorite teacher). I took AP Calculus I & II with him during my junior year of high school, then I took Calculus III with him in my senior fall semester. I also happened to have him as my junior and senior advisor during Connect.…

I also believe in short-term orientation and the attributes of personal stability and respect for tradition in the workplace. Also, I maintain views of universalism and analyzing when it comes to detail. Trompenaar and Hampden-Turner describe analyzing as “seeing people who look at the big picture as being out of touch with reality” (ChangingMinds.org, 2015). Although I do not believe that people who believe this way are out of touch, I tend to be more focused on details within my life.…

In addition to this, I simply enjoy talking with the elderly.…
