They both get together with Career woman but both relationships failBoth friends group are similar. There is the married couple of Monica and Chandler and the married couple Lily and Marshall. A group of white twenty somethings growing up in New York City, New York. They both have their regular hangout spots that they chill at after work at Central Perk and McLarens. There regular bartender and barista of Carl and Gunther. The new girl that joins the group and the nerdy dorky guy falls for her. And after a full season of wondering if the career driven girl and dorky guy will get together they do for a year and then break up. In the last episode the career girl and nerd guy end up together after a long time and live happily ever after. The nerdy guys both become professors. They both date one of their students. Nerd guys are both know-it-alls and love to correct people. They both have a on-again-off-again relationship with career woman and they believe her to be “the one”. The funny guy, both meet their best friend, Nerdy Guy, in college. They both hate their jobs, and have existential crisis, and end up being a stay-at-home husbands for a short period of time. …show more content…
They are the “mom” friends of the group and love to be in control. They both love to cook gourmet food and they both have a guilty pleasure. For Monica it’s cleaning and for Lily it’s shopping. Monica and Lily both marry the fun-lovable good guy.

The ultimate playboy: Joey and Barney. Besides women, they have another vice. For Joey it’s food and for Barney it’s suits. They both fall for career woman, but try to suppress their feelings for a while because of Nerdy Guy and Career Woman’s romantic past. They both get together with Career woman but both relationships fail.

Differences. Ted in How I Met Your Mother finds a girl and marries her and has two kids and then she dies and after 9 years he goes to Robin to hit her
