Becoming a Dental Hygienist seemed like a really good option. My aunt is a Dental Hygienist, and she loves her job, so I feel that I would too. Career Cruising gave me an in depth look at what people in this career do on a daily basis, how much they get paid, what their main duties are, and so much more. Once I saw how much they get paid, I realized that it was a sufficient amount to live off of. I liked the hours, because they work in the mornings and early afternoons, so I would get to be home with my family for the rest of the night. After reading this information and doing research on other websites, it has led me to the conclusion that I want to become a Dental Hygienist. Ferris has an actual Dental Hygiene program, and the other two have Pre-Dental. After comparing tuition, and other factors of each school, these are the three best options for me and my future career. The tour of Grand Valley was my third college tour that I have gone on. In eighth grade, our careers class toured MSU. It was a really big campus. I did not like that. I felt like I would get lost, or be late to classes because of how far I had to go. I would also like smaller classes to get more one on one help, and with such a big school like that with so many people, I do not see how that would be possible. Last year, I went on the trip to a different college fair and a tour of Aquinas. Aquinas was really small, which is what I want, and it was really pretty with all of the old buildings. To me, the best out of the three was Grand Valley. I really liked it, and I feel that in the end, Grand Valley will be the best option for me. They have really nice dorms, lots of places to get help with classes, and overall just had a really nice
