To be a pharmacist, I will need to complete the prerequisite Pre-Pharmacy coursework and take PCAT test to eligible for Pharmacy school. Then, I can earn the Doctorate of Pharmacy and obtain a license to work. Beside the basic education, I also need work experiences to compete with other applicants. On average, pharmacists earn $120,000 per year. However, their salaries can range from $85,000 as the lowest to $150,000 as the highest. Other occupations that related to pharmacy are biochemist, pharmaceutical chemist, organic chemist, virologist, etc, who participate in research and develop drugs and vaccines. Engineers also participate in the production process like designing equipment, devising manufacture process, maintaining efficient use of machines, etc. Since the employment is competitive, it required me to work hard on my education career and have plenty work experiences. Through my four years as undergraduate, I planned to find a job as pharmacy technician to earn work experience. This job will give me more understanding of the work environment and job duties since it is available in most retail stores and work with experienced pharmacists. In addition, I will find more research opportunities and jobs in labs to see different work
