Career Essay: How To Become A Prosecutor

Imagine the opportunity of a having court room filled with people in utter silence listening to you speak, prosecutors get to have that experience. A prosecutor is an attorney who is one of the most important law enforcers in the county ("Prosecutors office "). The responsibility of the prosecutor is not is not just to send someone to jail but to get justice ("Prosecution function "). All of this information is very interesting but the steps to becoming a prosecutor are very complicated. Such as having to go through four years of college and three years of law school, prosecutors have a very stressful job that has many important duties to it, and also they help determine whether or not someone will be sent to jail.

When prosecutors get a case the number one priority for them is too seek justice for the person pressing charges. Even if that means sending someone to jail. Because that is part of the job. So taking part in this career means you can’t be resentful to others.

Then prosecutors must make sure that the legal system is followed for all cases (Echaore-Mcdavid Law and the legal industry 11). The legal system is very complex. So in order for it to be followed completely prosecutors might work with others. If legal system is not followed correctly it might jeopardize the whole case.

Also prosecutors help determine whether or not someone will be sent to jail by using evidence. When gathering evidence it must be done properly in order for it to count. There are

many different kinds of evidence such as reviewing legal documents, interview witnesses, and collect physical evidence (Echaore-Mcdavid Law and the legal industry 11). This evidence is used against the criminal in the case to prove them guilty. Prosecutors may defiantly need more than one piece of evidence to get the criminal
