The job duties of of a coach are big. They have a lot of weight on there shoulders. like for example they have to plan, organize and conduct practices and sessions. They analyze each and every kid's strengths and weaknesses, they have to see if every kid can hold not just there own but to see if they are team leader. But that degree could be in any subject that you pick. You must be 18 years old or older. Some schools require a teaching license. Like at some schools they give the job to any teachers and staff first. If no teachers or staff take then they open it up to the public to apply for the job. Another requirement is that you should have experience in the sport.
The Skills that you need for this job is that you need to be loud not afraid to talk to these kids. Tell them what they're doing wrong. So you need Communicating skills, so that you can motivate, instrct and organize the kids. You need dedication for the sport that your coaching. Also, as a coach you have to see who wants to get better who's working their hardest at every practice. Coaches must demonstrate good leadership and try to develop, train, motivate and turn them into young athletes. They must find a way to develop and make a game plan, but the best way of winning is to not be a team but to be a family.
If I got to be a Sports Coach I would try my personal best to try and get the kids i’m coaching to be better by the end of the season. I want them to go home happy and talk about what they learned everyday. I want to see there faces when we win games and see the excitement of them. I just can’t wait for this moment to happen to
