The focus of this paper is to explain my plans for the future and how I will get there. It is important for me and everybody else to think and plan their future. I want to have a fun job so I will do well and enjoy going to work every day. I don’t want a job that I don’t enjoy because I won’t be good at it. I also would like to get a good grade on this project.

For this project, we were required to take two surveys. The first survey, known as the Career Cluster Survey, would explain what career cluster you would be good at working in. My top career cluster was Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security, and my second was Government and Public Administration. The Basic Skills Survey was a bit more in-depth but explained what I was able to do in a workplace environment. My reading comprehension was a six and speaking and math was a four. There are many responsibilities of this job. The main job of a Bail Agent is to check in with the defendant and potentially present them in court if needed. If the defendant does not make regular payments to the bondsman, violates a condition of their bond, misses court, or has their bond revoked, it is my job to take them to jail. The majority of the time, fugitives are arrested because they miss their court date. If the defendant misses court, the bondsman will be responsible for the entire cost of the bond if the defendant is not returned within 150 days of missing

Career Clusters & Advising One of the main attributions Achieve Texas contributes to advisors and counselors is that it breaks down potential class schedules in order to help a student be success in the career path they have chosen; it also goes on to help a student realize what expectations of the career field are, what kind of impact it has on the world, if the field is growing/shrinking, and ultimately, if it is the right fit. Achieve Texas does this through breaking career fields into clusters, or bunches of related careers. By doing this, it allows students to explore more possible options, to find one that best suits their personality and strengths. An example of the career clusters is Education & Training (edutrain).…

Throughout my educational career I have not experienced too many failures or setbacks. That is not to say that subjects have always come naturally to me, but with hard work, time, and energy, I have been able to meet my academic goals in my classes. The greatest academic challenge came to me in my two college physics courses. While my professor was one of the most intelligent professors I have encountered and clearly knew very advanced physics, he seemed to struggle with communicating basic physics concepts to the class. The professor lectured to us, rarely provided visuals or real world examples, and was not open to students having questions or needing extra help.…
