Career Assignment: Course Analysis

1. I enjoyed the careers course because the course allowed me to learn a lot of valuable information. From this course, I was able to learn more about myself, my interests, ideal career and much more. Each activity we did in class made me learn something new, whether that be about myself or life. From each assignment, I was able to acquire some new knowledge, however, the assignments that I feel I learned the most from were the Who am I presentation and ideal career assignment. The who am I assignment allowed me to take all of my survey results and put it into a presentation, this made understanding my survey results much easier to do. The Who am I presentation and ideal career assignment was the most useful to me because these are the activities that I felt I was able to learn the most from. The who am I presentation consisted of a lot of things such as my learning styles, personality type, knowledge, motivation factors etc. Since the assignment allowed me to take all of the survey results and put it into a short presentation, I was able to understand my results better. The other assignment that I felt was the most useful to me is the ideal career assignment because this assignment allowed me to basically take all of my survey results and use them to research careers to find a career that would be best suited for me. Having completed the course I definitely have a better sense of my career path. Coming into the course I had no clue about what I wanted to do in the future, however now that I have completed the course I have a better understanding of what I want to do. The reason why I now have a better sense of my career path is due to all the assignments we had to do in the course. Basically, now that I have completed the course I was able to learn about myself as a person, as well as possible career options for me. It is for this reason that I think completing the course has allowed me to have a better sense of my career
