When asked what you want to be when you grow up you can be stifled. Especially when you consider if you want to go to college or not.They have to consider every factor before they make that big of a decision. For some people this may be the biggest decision of their lives. When I grow up I want to be an Accountant. To do that it will take a lot of work,but if I put my mind to something I can accomplish anything in this world I want to do. First I need to choose the right college then start an internship to get a good look of what I’ll be doing. It is also very important to understand the educational or training requirements, skills or talents needed, salary and benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career making this decision.

The median pay for accountants in 2015 was $67,000 in the U.S. , being $64,260 in Oklahoma. Oklahoma is a great state to be an accountant because the economy is so good here. Accounting jobs are based on their state or area 's economy. Higher economy means more accountants needed to analyze the data.
Other than getting a degree or being certified in an accountant field some requirements can be as little as attitude or character. Accountants usually work in teams which means teamwork and flexibility is needed to be successful (.“Traits Every Great Accountant Has." ). Accountants have to be trustworthy, people are trusting you with their money. Accountants must be sharp, organized and precise with their calculations.
