The career that I want to do after I graduate is a social worker. Child and family social worker is the official job title. Child and family social workers help families find housing or services. They intervene when children are in danger, some locate foster families, and others work to reunite families. I chose this as my career because i can’t stand to think of families in need or children being abused("Summary"). It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills or talents needed, salary and benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.
Child and family social worker jobs are world-wide but I personally would like to work in oklahoma. Social workers work in all sorts of environments, but many work in child welfare agencies. Social workers work full quite a bit though some even end up working weekends and holidays. Social worker jobs are located all over the world. Social workers don’t really get to choose their where exactly they work, it depends on what type of social worker they are(“Summary”).

The field of your major,which for me is social work and the licensure and experience. The licensure is needed for all states and required experience is 1-2 years.("How to Become a Social Worker: Education and Career Roadmap").
The major for social worker is an Bachelor’s degree. A Bachelor’s degree for sociology is the common requirement for entry-level positions. Although some employers may hire a person who has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. The classes needed for this major are human biology, psychology, sociology, ethics, human communication, and child development.( “Classes to Take to Become a Child Care Social Worker.").
