The career I have chosen to pursue is in nursing. I don’t just want to be a nurse that can’t go on to higher levels either, that’s why I’d like to be an Emergency Room (ER) Trauma Nurse. The role of a trauma nurse is helping people in peril situations. The problems they have coming in the ER can be big or small, it does not matter, they all still get treated the same. I personally chose this career because on Labor Day 2013 I had been in a serious car wreck. A little eight-year-old girl was killed in the vehicle we hit. Most people would not want to have a job with chances of people in emergency situation dying but that is just the opposite for me. Trauma Nurse usually works in a hospital, however, some work in ambulances, airplanes, and medical helicopters.
