There are a considerable number of articles related to career and college readiness that supports the need to develop assessment tools intended to appraise the potential success of high school in postsecondary education. Reed and Justice (2014), authors of the article “College and High School Educators’ Perceptions of Current College Readiness Levels”, have concluded that there is a significant difference between how high school teachers and college faculty perceived college readiness levels.
