The career I am choosing for when I become a adult is a concrete management company. The company I am going to own is Silver and Blue concrete Inc.. This company is my fathers but he will be passing it down to me when I am 23. This company was founded in March of 1998. He started with just him and a friend since they were born, but now they both own the company. This article is about what I am planning to do with my life. I will be attend the university of Denver in Colorado to show me how to run a business and in how to be a leader. The career I have chosen is a very stressful career but it is also a good paying career. I choose this career because it is what I want to do with my life and it is also my fathers company. Later on when I get to see what the expenses and if I get a scholarship, I might change to a better college or a cheaper college. I choose this college because it has many business management classes and concrete classes. The average cost to attend this college is about $60,000 a year which is expensive for a college. I can get many grant and I can get a scholarship but my parents will be paying part of my college expenses. I will be working to pay the rest of my college while I am in college. I will be getting an associates degree in business management and in concrete management. It will take me two to three years to get this degree depending on how fast I get my credits. I might plan on getting a bachelors degree but for right now I am getting a associates degree. College isn't always for everyone so I am not getting a high degree. I need to be responsible, aware, risk-taking, determined, hard working, and most importantly a leader. By being responsible I will be able to keep track of all of my crews and there jobs, and I will also be able to keep track of all of the paper work. I also have to keep track all of the expenses and profits. I need to be aware of my surroundings because I need to make sure my employees are taking care of the equipment and doing a good job. I need to take risk because it can make the business better or it can make the business bank erupt. By being a leader and hard working I can teach my employees and be able to all the jobs I need in order to run the company.
