The cardiovascular system consists of the heart, blood vessels and approximately the 5 litres of the blood that the blood vessels transport. The cardiovascular system is powered by the body’s hardest working organ. The cardiovascular system is responsible for transporting nutrients and removing gaseous waste from your body. The main structures of this system is the heart the blood vessels and blood.
