The main fitness component used in a fun run is cardiorespiratory endurance. This is because it makes your heart beat faster and supplies oxygen to working muscles. Also when you run for a vast distance your body may start to become fatigued and you find it harder to breathe. Improving this will assist you to run a longer time without feeling tired.

In the first week I completed 4 sets of 15 repetitions, the second week I completed 4 sets of 30 repetitions and the third week I completed 3 sets of 45 repetitions with a 5 kg weight. While completing the Russian twist I used a 5kg weight to make it harder. In this exercise the muscle that was used the most was the biceps, triceps and abdominals.
