Location
Cardiff is located in the south coast of the southern part of Wales. It is in the shoreline of Bristol Channel. This city is quite flat that helped it become one of the world’s leading ports in Wales. It was the one of the home of the Marquis of Bute. This castle has an amazing interior that was done in the early 1900s in a very idiosyncratic and interesting style. It also showcases artistic works and well worth craftsmanship that are well-known to many visitors and tourists.
Llandaff Cathedral
This Cathedral is one of the oldest religious sites in Europe. This dates from 1107 and it features some spectacular architecture. It has the huge statue of Christ in Majesty by Jacob Epstein. The surrounding of the village is an interesting place to explore with a local coal magnate's house which is the Insole Court, that was donated to the people of Cardiff and is open for all the visitors and tourists.
