The current thesis has investigated 9 core hypotheses with 16 sub-hypotheses. The following section will provide the hypotheses test results based on the AMOS software programme (AMOS statistics 23) and SPSS software (SPSS 23). It will start by testing the core hypotheses first, then followed by testing the sub-hypotheses in order as it is possible. To assess the hypotheses in the current thesis path analysis was developed to ensure the important and logical associations between the leadership behaviours, organisational commitment, and intent to turnover have been taken into account in the current analysis.
Testing hypotheses in quantitative research require few steps before conducting the analysis and testing the hypotheses. The researcher needs to establish a framework to be studied and states the null and alternative study hypotheses based on the literature review of earlier studies in the discipline. The measurement should meet an acceptable reliability. The sample needs to meet the data assumptions such as the normal distribution (Skewness and Kurtosis), the outliers, dealing with missing data, and linearity relation. The researcher should select an acceptable level of significance (p) based on the criteria of the study (Hair et …show more content…
Several techniques can be chosen to test the hypotheses. The number of the variables, measurements, objectives of the study need to be considered during the selection of the appropriate technique (Hair et al., 2010). Hence considering all these requirements in the current study, a multivariate statistical technique can be used to achieve the study’s
