From what we’ve studied, Carbs is one of the three important macronutrients found in our diet. It also provides the main source of energy for our daily activities and a very good source of fiber which helps maintain a healthy digestive system. An individual can also get a healthy source of nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins when a person indulges in starchy foods, fruits, vegetables, legumes and lower fat dairy products in their diet. Therefore, a person may lack an important source of nutrient, a source of energy and the likes, when Carbs is completely removed or replaced in one's diet.
