-Two scenes that illustrate self-fulfilling prophecy are when the young cop was with an african american man in his car giving him a ride, and when the african american from the beginning of the movie was pulled over again towards the end of the movie. When there were in the car the young cop was looking at the young black man, and saw him with holes in his clothing and expected him to be dangerous, so in turn he got more serious to the point of him telling to get out of his car in fear of the african american man. The self-fulfilling prophecy was that african american men are violent to the young cop was expecting him to be violent. For the second example when the man from the beginning was pulled over a second time was very angry. When he got out of the car he was shouting to the cops which in turn aimed guns at him because they think that all black african american men are inherently violent.
