Capulet causes the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because he is impatient, non supportive, and uncaring. Firstly, Capulet causes Juliet and Romeo’s deaths because of his impatience. He gets angry with his daughter very quickly, making her feel scared and unwanted. Juliet is afraid to negotiate with him, and her habit of mistrust and hiding the truth from her father kills her. Secondly, Capulet disowns Juliet when she rebukes his ideas, calling her “young baggage [and a] disobedient wretch.”(III.v.165) Capulet is non supportive because he will not give a second thought to her ideas and wishes.
