Eyewitnesses described that Key was very passionate about the strike and didn't believe that the airline should be conducting a strike in the way they had gone about it. It became an outburst of Captain Keys anger and resentment for his flight crew and he could not believe they would act in such a way. This prompted the investigators to believe that Captain Key was so furious about the argument he had prior to the flight, and believed it messed up his ability to think logically and to correctly fly an aircraft. Subsequently, the investigators drew the conclusion that, because of Key's anger he would lose his concentration and accidently pull on the wrong lever not noticing what he was doing. The investigators listened over the cockpit voice
