Captain American Research Paper

Imagery is a powerful weapon especially if it's presented with audio. That's what the Hollywood is known for. The long list of superheroes that have been created and in some cases introduced by the Hollywood or the media in general. As the popularity of superheroes grew even I was not an exception to have been impressed by their larger than life images. The one superhero that I became fascinated with is called the captain America. The first idea of a superhero came out while the Americans were faced with the great depression. People have lost their hopes and the dreams that once attracted people to the land of opportunities had nothing to offer at least that's what it seemed like at the moment.

Of all the superheroes although superman was the very first comic character captain America is the one that stuck in my memory. Captain America was created during WWII as a propaganda tool to give the American public a hope and strength. …show more content…
The captain whose duty is to protect America and the Americans. An unlimited source of capabilities to fulfill all his missions in order to serve the American interests. No matter how hard and impossible the task might be captain America gets the results that come with a happy ending. Despite what the Hollywood is trying to portray it's nothing more than entertainment yet it had entered in the American psych as if such character do exist.

If we analyze the phenomenon of such superheroes it won't be wrong to conclude that the ironic reality of captain America is that at the same time it appeals to the human or in particular American fantasy of someone who has answers to all their questions, the one is always there to help them shows the dissatisfaction and limited trust that people have on their political entities. It also has done a great deal of damage to people’s expectations of a
