This demonstrates he never gives up when trying to do right. I incorporate this almost every day by pushing through obstacles I find difficult, such as schoolwork in a challenging subject. Rogers tried to enlist in the military through one course of action, but when that did not work and it seemed like there were no other options, he found a way. Every comic book displays his resilience and determination to succeed. These character attributes can be utilized in real life.
One of the most prominent values I received from Captain America is the way he never compromises his morals. No matter the situation and possible outcomes, he holds tight to what he believes is right and will not give that up. In difficult situations, it is easy to bend to fit in with the crowd or take the easy way out by giving up morals. I have been put in positions where I had a choice, and had parts of my identity not been shaped by Captain America, I may have taken the easy way out.
Captain America has influenced and shaped my identity in positive ways that I could not be more grateful for. I cannot imagine who I would be or where I would be heading without having discovered my interest in comic books. Values and morals I picked up from the adventures of Steve Rogers are ones that are important to me and have made the most impact on my day to day
