Captain America The Purple Death Analysis

Imagine it is the 1940s. You have a job in the advertising business and you were just assigned a project for an upcoming adventure serial film called, “Captain America: The Purple Death.” Being told it is going to be the first of its kind, coming from the classic comic book series, Captain America. While keeping this in mind, one would have to think about how they are going to introduce this to the public. Also, one would have to know what a serial film is. A serial film is an extended motion picture broken into a number of segments that was shown before the feature film. How would one incorporate the style of a comic book to interest comic book readers and integrate a normal style to interest people who have not read the comics into a poster? How would one create the poster to seem like a fun little film before the actual event and have people come to see it? It seems to me that the purpose of this advertisement was to tell moviegoers about the new serial film and to convince them to go see it. Seeing this man who represents America is appealing to both the former comic book readers and the average everyday moviegoers. The way this advertisement can be improved if the creator stuck to, at the most, four fonts. The drastic switching between the fonts can distract some readers and make them not pay attention to what the creator wants them to notice.
