1.0 Introduction Nowadays, continues growth of advancement of technology through mobile devices such as smartphones are evident. Everyone knows what a smartphone is, smartphone is like a personal computer but in other way it is a handheld device with mobile operating system that comes with popular mobile operating system like Android and Apple iOS. Every month there are new advancement in mobile smartphones technology. Almost everyone adults and young owns one handset, they use it for daily purposes such as texting, calling, surfing the web. Instead of using digital cameras people took photographs through their mobile smartphones. Many people do not how to spell or how to pronounce some words. And since technology is now available for innovation, the researchers had decided to improve the existing system giving the users a reliable application to use for searching Capampangan words and their meanings. So the proponents propose a system Amanung Sisuan: A Capampangan Mobile Application Dictionary that will help the people in Pampanga to understand and learn more in our native dialect so our culture will never be …show more content…
It is a mobile Capampangan application dictionary that will allow the users to search for 11,355 Capampangan words, allows the users to search the meaning of a Capampangan word. The system has a module for the “word of the day”. The system also allows the user to listen and learn the right way to pronounce Capampangan words. It also allows the users to view image of a certain Capampangan word. The search button has advance search feature. The study does not cover the development of iOS application due to the high cost of developing iOS applications, the mobile application dictionary the application is for android users. There are only 300 Capampangan words that have images and audios. The users can only search for Capampangan word and the definition is
