Improved Essays
Hopefully everyone has one big thing or just something little that they remember having fun or liked doing something in middle school. Just brief things can brighten up your middle school years and mine was Cap/sadd. Consequently, the best part about middle school was being in Cap/sadd. Being in Cap/sadd was one of my best decisions in middle school. I say it was my best decision in middle school because it made me think about the things I'm doing out of school. It also helps kids to make better decisions and choices about what they are doing. Cap/sadd helps other people's lives and our own. Cap/sadd is for seventh and eighth grade, and it lasts the whole year. However, in Cap/sadd basically anyone can join. When you first go down for Cap/sadd you get a paper that your parent has to …show more content…
The choices I made were to go to the drug symposium at the high school. There was March for Parks, Yough Walk, Cougars in Combat, babysitting after school, making blankets for newborns, and a mass variety of other events. At the Drug symposium we worked stations doing games for the little kids to play. The station I worked at was the duck pond with two other people, Hannah and Mady. In these stations there was shifts and when your shift switches you basically have a break and can do whatever. In my break time Maddie and Natalie from another station went and got our faces painted. After we got our faces painted we went back to our stations. When the whole thing was over Natalie and I were doing these drug test on drinking and driving. In this car (fake bike with pedals shaped like a car) you get goggles and it changes your vision so it looks like your drunk. You go through an obstacle with cones and see how you drive. Everything I did at the Drug Symposium I would never regret doing being it inspired me not do drink and drive, smoke, or do any

If anyone ever asked me what my favorite memory from high school was, it would most likely be related to twirling a flag in my school’s flagline. Even though the band members constantly denied us from actually being in the band, I always thought we made a great addition to the marching band and added a little extra spunk to it! I was on flagline throughout all my four years in high school. In fact, I was a natural at twirling and I was the only freshman who made the line my first year! I was a leader to my fellow twirlers and then became the captain during my senior year.…

Throughout high school, I have been involved in many activities. I started off with the STEM academy in my high school. In the STEM academy, we held special events that teach people, especially kids, about new experiments and science-related careers. I helped out the STEM academy by explaining people about the experiments, the purpose behind the experiments and cleaned or organized lab equipment. I was a part of the STEM academy for approximately three years in high school and I really enjoyed it because I knew I could make a difference in my community.…

While I was in school I had some of the most amazing teachers and made friendships that have lasted to this day. There is no way I could pick just one memory from stafford elementary. It was fun running the school store and surprisingly we actually made enough to donate a plaque to the school for the big tree. I also loved being a safety patrol but, what fifth grader did not love feeling like they were…

My favorite 8th grade memory is always when I hang out with my friends. One days it was sunny so me and my brother went to our friends house then went to go to sunset. We played soccer for a while until we got bored and went to tristan's house. Then we all left together and went to dylan's house and also picked up another kid name jaiden. Then we all biked all the way to dairy mart and I got a large cookie dough frenzie and we all go to this park with a huge rock and took a picture on it.…

You always remember the best moments of your life. They stick with you forever, and they remind you of how happy you were in that moment. The best memories I have are from my freshman year here at Combs High School. The whole year was amazing, but the thing that was most important was band. Middle school was a very unusual time in my life. Not unusual in the sense that I had strange things happen to me, more in the sense that everything just seemed hard to latch on too. For example, I went to elementary school at Haubstadt Community school, but I didn't go on to attend the middle school at Haubstadt like most of my peers did. Instead, I went to Scott Middle School, which is located in McCutchanville. I knew nobody and I felt out of place.…

On the mental side, I learned that drugs it self cause many mental side effects including epileptic seizures and slowing down your senses. This can be life threatening and cause permanent damage. I also learned about the physical side effects of drugs. I read about a study that showed how a liver can be damaged due to the use of recreational drugs.…

Senior Year My greatest memory so far in my eighteen years of being on this earth is without a doubt my senior year of high school. It was absolutely unforgettable. My senior year as a whole (which was just last year) was the most fun I’ve ever had in my life and the happiest I have ever been. When I was a chubby little freshman with glasses I thought to myself that high school would be one of the longest time periods of my life and that four years would feel like forty years. But man was I wrong, high school went by in the blink of an eye.…

Throughout my 13 years of school, and now in college, you learn who you truly become, who your friends are, and especially realize what you’ve been taught eventually pays off. When we were kids, we always thought about who was the most popular, or who had the coolest backpacks. Little did I know learning to respect others, pay attention in class, and even raising your hand when you had a question would show that it would come in handy for the future. Surely when we were kids, did we each think it was bologna. It has shaped our future and ourselves as an individual.…
