Cantigny Reading over the local historical places to visit my eyes gleamed with 8th grade memories when I ran across Cantigny. I had fond memories of Cantigny with my 8th grade friends as we eagerly climbed on the tanks to take pictures as well as when we went through the tours. Though, I couldn’t recall the significance of the place. Of course, this visit was to be connected with history somehow, but to me Cantigny was just tanks. So this summer I headed down with one of my good friends on one of the hottest days of this summer, and we both walked in with not much expectation for anything informational.
