Cannabis is not just all smoke…………
For many centuries, cannabis has been a part of everyday life, having many beneficial uses and in several different forms that are suitable for medical proposes, as well as, all ages. The word cannabis for most people seems to be a picture of clouds of smoke and illegal activity, yet cannabis comes in other forms as well; oils, paper, cloth, and edibles. Outside the United States, the use of cannabis for healing, making paper products, and clothes has been a part of cultures in many countries. These specialized tampons are made of cocoa butter, a small amount of distilled THC oil, and with the main ingredient called CBD, a powerful healing property of cannabis that does not give the effects of being “stoned” or “high;” is known to have some effect of an anti-inflammatory and a pain reliever. One reason maybe the negative campaigns, in the early 40’s and 50’s that the government released claiming that marijuana was a dangerous drug; using many untruths in pictures to describe the effects of the cannabis. In 1970, the government went as far as to classifying cannabis as a Schedule I substance, same category as heroin, and having no medical purpose. Due to the many studies, in the last decade, on the effects of cannabis, “Federal agencies are considering reclassifying it so that it can be prescribed,” states ConsumerReports.org, an organization that has released an article that reports skeptically on the use of cannabis. The time is just around the corner when this country will wake up to the fact that one of the better options to control many aspects of medical conditions is with the use of cannabis. The realization that many of the pharmaceutical products on the market have dangerous effects on the mind and body. Many pharmaceuticals have been in law suits in recent years, as well as, several recalls of medications. Having options and the ability to utilize those options is a right that every American should have without fear of repercussion by our legal
